Meet the BTC Staff

Shannon Eller, LPC, LMFT

Brighter Tomorrows Consulting, LLC & Incorruptible Seed Ministries, Inc.
Ms. Shannon Eller earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA in 1986, specializing in Middle Childhood Education with Teacher Support Specialist Certification. 
Ms. Eller holds a T-5 State of Georgia Teaching Certificate. Ms. Eller taught for eighteen years prior to earning a Master of Science Degree in Community Counseling from Columbus State University, summa cum laude in 2006. Ms. Eller also currently has 25 years experience in the teaching field. Formerly, Ms. Eller was an Adjunct Instructor at Griffin Technical College for two years while assisting felony probationers in obtaining their GED diplomas through a joint collaboration between the Department of Corrections and the Department of Education. Ms. Eller is currently pursuing a terminal degree (Ed.D) in Counseling, Education and Supervision. 
Shannon is dually licensed as both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS).  She is also certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and holds a variety of state certifications including:

Clinical Certified Alcohol and Drug Addictions Counselor (CCADC),
Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate certification (CCDP-D)
Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S)
Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS)

Ms. Eller holds provider numbers from GAMFT, NBCC, APT, GACA, LPCA and ADACBGA.

Currently in private practice as the owner of Brighter Tomorrows Consulting, Shannon provides individual and family counseling services, supervision to rising professionals and paraprofessionals, adjunct instruction at Argosy University, and counseling training workshops, focusing on addictions and play therapy interventions. Shannon is the Central District Representative of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association Board of Directors. Shannon facilitates counselor workshops and training seminars throughout the state of Georgia, offering LPCA, Association for Play Therapy, and Addictions continuing education credit hours. 

Maegan Stuart, LAPC,NCC,ICAADC
Adolescent Behavioral Specialist

Maegan Stuart started her career with Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as an intern in the fall of 2013. She is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and an Internationally Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICAADC). Maegan graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College and State University and received her M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. 

Currently, Maegan is pursuing full licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) through post-masters, clinical experience. She is also wanting to continue gaining experience in working with children and become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT).

Courtney Chandler,LAPC, NCC
Adolescent Behavioral Specialist

Courtney Chandler LAPC, started working at BTC in 2014 as an intern. Courtney has an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University.  Courtney is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor as well as a Certifited In Prime Solutions for Substance Abuse Risk Reduction. She works with all populations with specialty in working with adolescent males. 

As a licensed associate professional counselor, Courtney provides clients with real life tools and aids them in developing effective strategies, to cope with whatever issues they are facing. Past that, she motivates, encourages and supports clients to make choices that improve their day-to-day lives, relationships and overall satisfaction.

April Barnes,LAPC
Child Behavioral Specialist

April Barnes started her career at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as an intern. She works with both male and female client’s ranging in populations from children to adult whose presenting problems may include substance abuse, anger, anxiety, loss, and depression. April graduated with a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She also received a B.S. in Health Science and Counseling from Shorter University.

April is currently a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as working towards becoming both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and an International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC).

Kiona S. Dunn, LAPC, CSOTP
Clinical Behavioral Specialist

Kiona Dunn came to Brighter Tomorrows Consulting as an intern and student. 
Kiona earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from South Carolina State in 2000. She completed an M.A. in Psychology with a Professional Counseling Specialty from Argosy University in 2002.  Kiona is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor as well as a Certified Teacher. 

Kiona has 16 years of teaching  experience as a Special Education Teacher.  Kiona has a T5 certification in Special Education from West Georgia.  Additionally, she is certified in Emotional Behavior Disorders.  Kiona has diversified experience, working with people of all ages, from a variety of cultural backgrounds.  She currently sees a broad population of clients, including adolescents, adults, individuals, families, couples, and parents.

Kiona is currently working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), as well as becoming both a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and an International Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICAADC).

Christy Winton

Christy started her work at Brighter Tomorrow's Consulting in 2012 as a one woman admin & marketing team. From setting up trainings, tech support, managing Shannon's schedule and organizing & managing revenue Christy set the framework for the admin team of today. 

At the age of eighteen, Christy took on her first role in the mental health field as a receptionist at a mental health facility. From there she went on to own/operate a preschool and very successful Plumbing company that handled multi-million dollar projects such as hospitals, nursing homes and student housing facilities.  

Today Christy is the HR manager, Director of Marketing & Public Relations. Christy also manages accounts payable/receivable and is the PR representative for BTC. 

Donna Pope
Direct Administrative Coordinator

Donna Pope started at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting in 2010. Donna earned her Associates degree from Gordon State College and is an authorized notary. Her job includes managing client charts, education charts, google calendar, processing payments, and coordinating client interactions with counselors.

Candace Reagin earned her Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Human Services in 2015 at Clayton State University. She is currently the Executive Administrative Assistant to Shannon Eller, LPC, LMFT and the teaching assistant at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting Institute. Candace provides tech support and guidance for students enrolled in the course, as well as, administrative duties at Brighter Tomorrows Consulting including publications, website support, and front office assistance. 

Shelly Kenway

Shelly Kenway is a mother of 3, and has been married for 16 years. She has a
love of animals, photography, antiques, andfor helping people.
Currently, Shelly is a student at Liberty University for Christian Counseling. She
went to Southern Crescent Technical College for Administrative Office Technologies.
Shelly is in charge of administrative duties at BTC. She works on auditing charts, preparing trainings, data entry and helping facilitate the online site for BTCI. 

Jackie Martynuska
Administrative Support

Jackie Martynuska started her work with Brighter Tomorrows Consulting in 2015. Jackie's day to day duties include charting/filing and auditing the BTC inventory. Jackie has worked over thirteen years in customer service and is an exceptional member to the Brighter Tomorrows Team.
