About Us

Brighter Tomorrows Consulting is a private outpatient community mental health practice. BTC started in 2007 under the leadership of Shannon Eller, LPC, LMFT. Currently, Brighter Tomorrow Consulting is one of the largest private counseling practices in middle GA, seeing approximately 175-200 clients per week. Our counselors and administrative team are well versed and trained in the worlds of Addictions, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Play Therapy.

As therapists, our goal is to help clients uncover their true potential.While we cannot change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in the present and future. By applying integrative, individualized therapeutic approaches designed for individuals, couples, and families, we can work collaboratively toward healing and wholeness. Our Core Values include client welfare, professional development, social advocacy, beneficence, non-maleficence, autonomy, justice, and fidelity. Brighter Tomorrows Consulting practices social advocacy for all members of its practice. We practice social advocacy as a means of connecting all members of our practice to the larger community for coordination of services and continuity of care.
It is the practice of Brighter Tomorrows Consulting to provide all clients with aspirationally ethical services, regardless of age, gender, race, culture, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or faith system. Brighter Tomorrows Consulting practices cultural sensitivity and competency. We both welcome and value cultural diversity within our practice as part of the embrace toward all humankind. Client welfare is our first priority as a counseling practice. It is also the vision of Brighter Tomorrows Consulting to promote excellence in therapeutic practice for all clinicians within our practice. Our clinical goal is to provide current,


comprehensive, research-driven, evidence-based training for all supervisees, trainees, and students. It is our purpose to offer sound, supportive, challenging supervisory guidance to all interns and supervisees as they move from rising professionals into full licensure and certification. Counselor welfare, coupled with personal growth and professional development, is our overriding clinical goal in this area. We strive to provide clinical services that will allow our counselors to reach their goals of providing optimal clinical services to clients. Brighter Tomorrows Consulting maintains collaborative relationships within the professional arena as well as within the community at large as a function of accountability. Confidentiality & Privacy Policy


The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.
Exceptions include:
  • Suspected child abuse, dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If necessary, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
